Bubble POP Electric

Fall 2010
In the Tangible User Interface (TUI) class of Fall 2010, I had a fantastic opportunity to work with 2 other students in class on conceptualizing, designing, and implementing a superhero suit called Bubble Pop Electric. Inspired by GaGa, the team created a wearable music performance interface that played and manipulated music alongside a LED panel. Through this experience, I learned about circuits, lilypad arduino, and basically little bit of everything about tangible interfaces. The executions process was long and laborious (sewing LEDs on to the stretchy suit for HOURS), but in the end, our prototype rocked and equipped with so many skills! And the suit was later presented at TEI 2011 Superhero Design Challenge.

For more information about the design process, please visit the team blog and my personal class blog.
